DIY // Built-In Shelving Unit

Last month, we showed you progress on our built-in shelving unit in the pantry and today we’re brining you a DIY tutorial. Shelving units like this can add huge storage to a room and we’re already taking full advantage of it in our pantry! Thankfully built-in shelves are not particularly difficult to build and today we’re walking you through it.

This pantry shelf cost us under $300 to build, with most of the money going to the plywood. That’s definitely much less than custom cabinets would have cost!

We added a coat of Benjamin Moore’s Stay Clear to protect the bottom of each shelf against scratching.
