Happy Friday 9/10/21

Happy Friday! How are you? Our boys started school this week and after a year and a half of virtual learning at home, it felt like an accomplishment just to get them there on time. ha! (but really…) I think we’re all excited to be back at it, especially this little lady who has the house to herself for the first time ever…

Here are some fun links from the week…

I went down a rabbit hole this week that is Claude Monet’s house and gardens. Oh my! The colors. The tiles. The wallpapers. The flowers. It’s amazing and so lived in and I’m taking it all in for inspiration. (everydaywanderer)

The longest-living people in the world eat these 4 anti-inflammatory spices every day. (wellandgood)

Rethinking the in-law apartment as a sunny barn. This is an AMAZING property!!! (nytimes)

I talked about my gray hair this week - my favorite hair care products, “do I feel older?”, eyebrows, purple shampoo, and more.

Obsessed with this girls’s bed. (@metacoleman_)

My favorite basic t-shirt. (prana)

The prettiest goldeney-musterdey-cheery-yellow kitchen. I’d like to be so daring as to paint my kitchen cabinets this beautiful color! Wouldn’t it just bring a smile to your face every morning? (houseandgarden)

Mudroom dreams. (artichoke-ltd)

A sweet tale of city living: A quarter-century ago, she landed a Brooklyn Unicorn. (nytimes)

An 'anti-trophy’ garden in Upstate New York. I love the low key vibe of this gorgeous garden. (gardenista)

You guys I got banned from borrowing books from the library this week 🙈 I guess it happens…right?! We eventually found the lost book and my privileges are returned but long story short, I don’t have a book rec for you this week. So how about a kids book instead?! Have you seen the illustrated editions of Harry Potter? They’re so gorgeous and all three of our kids are loving reading them aloud together at night! (amazon affiliate, indiebound)

Have a good one!
