Happy Friday 5/17/24

Happy Friday! How are you? Any exciting weekend plans? We’re headed to the kids’ school fun fair (complete with the iconic cake walk I remember from my childhood!) and taking some much needed downtime after a busy week of siding the Poplar Cottage. Wishing you a lovely weekend.

Some fun links from the week…

Garrett sent me this podcast this week and wow, such a good listen for anyone with kids! Smartphones rewired childhood. Here’s how to fix it.

Do or don’t: lime green cabinets in the kitchen?! Love this London home tour, but not sure about the cabinets…

Millennials don’t know what to wear. Gen Z has thoughts. (For the record, I will never go back to low rise jeans.)

Jessica Helgerson’s Paris apartment is small and adorable! (More of the tiny and oh-so-chic kitchen here.)

This deep conditioner is a miracle worker! I use it once a week and my hair has never been so soft.

Would you buy your childhood home? A new study shows that a shocking number of us would. Funny enough, my childhood home came up for sale last Spring (before our new house) and I was definitely tempted.

I have my eye on these affordable linen curtains for Poplar.

Bridgerton Season 3 is officially out (here’s the preview)! I can’t wait to watch.

David Beckham’s garden is the stuff of dreams. That greenhouse! Those raised beds. Those chickens.

Have a good one!
