Happy Friday 10/11/24
Happy Friday! How was your week? We got home from Portland just in time to snuggle our brand new baby niece!!! She’s squishy and cuddly and utter perfection. Those newborn snuggles are just one of the BEST things in life, don’t you think?! Wishing you a lovely weekend!

Some links from the week…
Would you ever put a bathtub in your bedroom? I’m a yay (it just works in this cute cottage, IMO) but Garrett thinks it’s a little weird.
How to add character to a new build with no period features.
Daphne asked to be Cinderella for Halloween this year and I found her a delightful, lightly-used, inexpensive costume from this site. Highly recommend!
Eek! We ran a marathon last weekend! It sure feels good to set a goal, train for it, and achieve it. But then, like what’s next? Arthur C Brooks has just the right perspective on that.
Emily Henderson’s rug line with Rugs USA is SO good! I’m loving all the plaids like this jute number.
How to make halloween ghost shadows on your home. Love this!
Our sweet, kind, bright Brooks turned 9 this week and asked me to make him this cake. Whipping it up today and I can’t wait!
It’s the home office that does it for me in this Hamptons home charmingly made over by Heidi Caillier.
This novel was such a delight! It took me a few chapters to get into it but then I couldn’t put it down. Here’s the tag line… “In 1901, the word ‘Bondmaid’ was discovered missing from the Oxford English Dictionary. This is the story of the girl who stole it.”
Have a good one!
