5 Bathrooms That Caught My Eye Lately
I have had bathrooms on the mind lately! We’re gearing up to start the Poplar Cottage upstairs bathroom so my mind I deep in the world of tile and metal finishes and vanities. And I thought it would be fun to share some of the bathrooms that have been catching my eye lately since many of these are influencing our design direction at the Poplar Cottage, either directly or indirectly. Let’s get into it…
Rehabitat, Linwold Colonial project
This bathroom has really captured my imagination. The thoughtful design with the sloped ceilings. The simple floor pattern. The mirror-in-front-of-the-window situation. Lots of details to love here!
Vaughan Design and Development, Harpenden new build project
What a cutie! This bathroom is all about thoughtful, crafted details - the curved vanity, the small curved opening to the shower, the mirror. I’m loving the less-open shower - it’s so much more private and comfortable than the glass boxes of years past!
JZ Interiors Design, Cliff Drive Project
The details in this shower are really incredible. I’m eyeing the tiled ceiling and the marble window trim for our Poplar Cottage bathroom, but really all the details scream quiet luxury. I could spend hours in this shower…
Amber Interiors, Going to Carolina Project
This is definitely a much, much larger bathroom than our little ones at the Poplar Cottage, but the layout and built-in-tub-with-a-view has captured my imagination. Saving this image as Inspo for our new house!
Light and Dwell, Austin Ranch Project
There is so much to love in this space but I’m specially enamored with this marble molding around the shower opening. I’d love to create something similar for our Poplar Cottage bathroom.
Thoughts? Any bathrooms you’ve been eyeing right now?!
